Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 April 2026
These terms cover use of Lectu, a school operating platform provided as a service to subscribing institutions. End users — teachers, students, administrators — use Lectu under their institution's account and subject to their institution's internal policies.
Account & access
Accounts are provisioned by the subscribing institution's administrators. There is no public self-signup. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication or access-control systems.
- Do not upload malware, spam, or content that violates applicable law.
- Do not scrape or redistribute data belonging to other students, teachers, or institutions.
- Respect the academic-integrity policies of your institution when using quizzing and assessment features.
Availability
During the pilot program, Lectu targets best-effort availability without a formal SLA. A contractual SLA may be negotiated as part of a production agreement. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance via the institution admin contact.
Liability
Lectu is provided "as is" during the pilot. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the fees paid under your subscription — which, during the pilot, is zero.
Termination
Either side can terminate the pilot at any time with 14 days notice. Data is exported on request and permanently deleted within 30 days of termination (see Privacy Policy).
Governing law
These terms are governed by Algerian law by default and may be overridden by a signed institution-level contract.
